I played Bastion recently. This game is really absorbing/fascinating in spite of a classic (but still nice) gameplay and story. The soundtracks, the art and the narration are great. Also I liked the mix between the western mood, Laputa, and the colored apocalyptic world.
So, I wanted to start a fan art of this. Here is preview/close-up but you can see more steps on my tumblr: [link].
You have no idea how many time I listened to "Setting Sail" by drawing this.
Here is a personnal project I have since a long time. It take place in a dark city full of corrupted monsters (but no vampires neither werewolves, more likely ogres, a mafia of elves and witches, mad fairies, demons etc) where few good people have to survive and fight for their goals.
It's a kind of "Spirited Away" but taking place in Gotham City with mad and charismatic villains.
Not a lot to show for the moment, but I hope I could update more.

I actually cried when I finished the story for the first time - that part in the credits when a happy Zulf shows up. And for the second time, that I made Zia happy - when a resigned Zulf shows up.

Rucks may say whatever he wants, I do like Zulf. And your 'version' of him is perfect! The Kid looks way to old for me, though. Zia is so cute, as always. And Rucks... well I can't compare. He is our best friend, isn't he?
They look melancholic. The Calamity has that effect on people.
Ive heard some good things about it but ATM I am to cheap to go out and try it.
